Greg Majewski Pelican guitarist Laurent Lebec once famously claimed “We are a fucking triumphant band,” the statement becoming his band’s de facto slogan. With all due respect to the Windy City instru-metal heroes, Mouth of the Architect raise more goosebumps per square inch than just about any act in the post-metal landscape.

Chris Pace A shorter, heavier and darker effort with more use of clean vocals. These guys always have a way of building this massive wall of sound, layer after layer. Favorite track: Sharpen Your Axes.

Wez Barber Like a post-metal weezer. I don't know what this means, but i can't shake it as an idea. Slower to grab me than 'quietly' but no less rewarding--a bit more straightforward than i was expecting Favorite track: Patterns.
